After my time building Phrases Collide, I have become more and more interested in using fabric as an interface material for altering and recomposing sound.

There’s something very tactile and organic, when using fabric as an interface. Its something we use everyday, and yet we very rarely interact it in a way that alters something other than our physical comfort or appearance.

Some potential ideas utilizing conductive thread. I’d also like to try and build large, bendable surfaces that people can distort and move, causing riffs and patterns to change within pre-compiled or live loops of sound.
